The Cetinje-Budva road might be closed for traffic until the weekend, due to the landslide that took place on 2 December, when a large amount of land and rocks fell on the regional road.
The landslide occurred at the slope about 200 meters below the “small tunnel” towards the Lapcici.
The competent inspector decided to close the road for traffic because of the possibility of new landslide. The road will be closed until all the risks are eliminated and the slope is remediated.
Two days ago, workers began installing anchors and safety nets to help prevent further landslides.
