Montenegro’s president, Mr Milo Đukanović, took part in this years’ meeting of SI Presidium and Heads of States and Governments at the UN headquarters in New York at the invitation of the SI Secretary-General, Mr Luis Ayala.
Members of the Presidium exchanged views on situation in international relations, key topics of the general debate and discussed challenges of the further activities.
Mr Đukanović drew attention to individual aspects that should be emphasized in the work of the International, including the decline in quality of global policy, minimizing multilateralism and trend towards using national approach to settling global issues

He stressed the necessity for further unity of Europe and enlargement to WB and strengthening of interests for the cooperation on both sides of the Pacific.
Mr Đukanović also highlighted the success of consistent national policy, reforms and results achieved so far.
