In the last six months, President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, has rejected 41 applications for pardon.
In the period from 20 October 2018, to 20 March 2019, 35 applications for pardon have been submitted.
“President of Montenegro has rendered 41 decisions, and all of them were negative. Currently, 38 cases are in the process”, read the documents published by the Government.
Part of this report referring to the Agency for the prevention of corruption, states that 14 persons passed the exam for performing tasks of lobbying. Six public officials have resigned from the public function.
“After the instigation of administrative procedure before the Agency, five public officials resigned from performing activities in legal entities. In three cases, officials managed to recover funds”, reads the document.
