Anybody or any institution that thinks can defeat Montenegro is so wrong, said Montenegro’s President, Mr Milo Đukanović, in “Živa istina” talk show.
“I think it is possible to discuss important issues in a civilized manner. But once you are provoked to counter their arguments, then I must say that no institution or individual can defeat any state”, said Mr Đukanović.
He reminds that there were many such attempts.
“You saw how it all finished. Those who are threatening to burn down, sacrifice, become a saint and alike, should know that we are far more numerous on this side. We are proud of what we have achieved. We have renewed Montenegrin state and now we are ready to defend our roof at all costs”, said Mr Đukanović commenting on the threats sparked by the new Law on Freedom of Religion.
He stressed that it should be clear from the universal experience that those who want to defend the state will always outnumber those who want to break it down.
“Therefore, do us a favor and don’t threaten”, concluded Mr Đukanović.
