At the invitation of Israel’s President, Mr Reuven Rivlin, Montenegro’s President, Mr Milo Đukanović, will participate in the 5th World Holocaust Forum entitled “Remembering the Holocaust, Fighting Anti-semitism”, which is taking place on 23 January in Jerusalem. The event is organized by the World Holocaust Forum Foundation, in cooperation with the World Center for Remembering the Holocaust.
Over 40 presidents, prime ministers and representatives of royal families from Europe, North America and Australia will attend the Forum.
Among others, the Forum will be attended by Russian president, Mr Vladimir Putin, French president, Mr Emmanuel Macron, German president, Frank- Walter Steinmeier, Prince Charles, king of the Netherlands, William Alexander etc.
Israel’s president, Prime Minister, Mr Benjamin Netanyahu, the first man of France, Mr Macron, Prince Charles, Russia’a president, U-S- high representative and Mr Steinmeier will deliver a speech on the Forum.
Holocaust survivers will also deliver the speech. The ceremony will finish with a state anthem of Israel. The World Holocaust Forum will be broadcast live via satellite signal and Yad Vashem internet page and Facebook.
The Forum is dedicated to marking 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz and International Day of Remembering the Holocaust.
