For ten years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Montenegro and the United Arab emirates (UAE), a lot has been done in the improvement of bilateral relations. Investment cooperation is particularly important. Development of the UAE is an inspiration for what we want to do in Montenegro, said Montenegro’s president, Mr Milo Đukanović during the meeting with the ambassador if the UAE to our country, Mr Abdusalam Hareb Obaid Al Romaithi, who is in his farewell visit to Montenegro.
Mr Đukanović thanked the outgoing ambassador for his great contribution to stable and dynamic development between Montenegro and the UAE and said that intense political dialogue and high level visits had contributed significantly to the quality of bilateral cooperation.
EXPO world exhibition in Dubai next year will be a great opportunity for the presentation of Montenegro’s potentials and sustainable development strategy.
Mr Romaithi emphasized Montenegro’s immense potential and offered his personal engagement in the promotion of Montenegro on the forthcoming exhibition.
