Businessman Duško Knežević announced that he was going to establish a political party named ‘European Movement for Freedom’ (EPS). Mr Knežević, for whom the Montenegrin Interpol issued an international arrest warrant, talked to his followers on Instagram and said he would set up a serious European Movement.
He claimed he had people and experts as well as a clear goal for his political party. “The opposition in Montenegro does not know how to act and it’s pretty much scattered. Of course, I am not against them, but I will have my own political fights and my own way. Everything will be on my own. I wish the opposition all the best. In case our interests are the same, it’s totally fine with me but if not, each one of us will have our own way,” said Mr Knežević.
He has become a political reality of Montenegro and there was not one single reason for him not to become a politician. “I don’t have problems with continuing the political fight and war against Milo Đukanović. I’ll figure out the way in which to do it. The Movement has already been set up, I’ve elected the people and its goals are soon to be determined. The Movement will include people from other parties as well,” Mr Knežević explained.
Krivokapić is a politician of the future
Mr Knežević claimed the leader of SDP, Ranko Krivokapić, has been one of the most serious opposition leaders, possessing the strong international reputation.
“Along with Igor Lukšić and Andrija Jovićević, Krivokapić is a politician that the West is counting on in the future. They all have strong international connections and are well known at the international political scene as people capable of bringing changes.”
