€10.6m for a boulevard through Donja Gorica

The Capital City Administration has completed the main design of the Cetinje Road (Cetinjski Put) from the Miloja Pavlovica street to the bridge over the Sitnica river, ie the boulevard through the Donja Gorica neighbourhood in Podgorica. The estimated value of the project is €10.6m.

Podgorica municipal representatives told Mina-business news agency that the design was completed and that the expropriation elaboration for the Cetinje Road was verified.

“The Capital City has submitted an initiative to the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs to prepare public tender to select the best bidder to carry out the works. The project is expected to be discussed by the government soon,” the Capital City said.

Last week Podgorica Mayor Slavoljub Stijepovic and regional manager of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for the Western Balkans, Tomas Lubek, also signed a mandatory letter on engagement of advisors for the implementing the €20m worth project of Southwestern By-Pass around Podgorica.
