Up to €290m to be invested in PortoNovi next year

The works on the PortoNovi project are being carried out as planned. Next year €288.13m will be invested, which almost equals the previous investment in the past four years, said Azmont Investments Board of Directors Chairman Ahmet Erentok.

He met with prime minister Dusko Markovic, who said he was pleased with the successful development of the PortoNovi project. The PM added he always believed in the project.

Markovic presented government’s plans to continue to restore and improve traffic infrastructure, particularly to get our airports fully contributed to Montenegrin tourism and overall development of Montenegro.

“Ahmet Erentok said that the improvement of the offer at the Tivat airport with the planned construction of the bypass around Tivat and the bridge over the Verige bay would position the airport as a key communication point for the northern part of the Bay of Kotor, which is currently turned to Dubrovnik airport in terms of air traffic,” the government stated.
