Since it started applying re-programming tax claims, Tax Administration has charged almost €45 million, reads the Public Finance Management Reform Program.

“Tax Administration has undertaken activities for re-programming tax claims. It’s best reflected in the total revenue generated in 2018 (€20.632.549). Since the beginning of re-program, a total of €44.887.343 has been charged”, points out the document.

In the past three years tax debt has been reduced by more than €190 million.

“Thanks to the consultant assistance provided by the experts from the IMF,  tax debt management plan for 2017-2021 has been adopted. This Plan identifies seven risks. Responses were prompt, measures had positive effects and it led to the reduction of tax debt”, points out the program.

“Results in revenue collection have been very positive as well. In that context, share of the tax applications submitted electronically as higher. Number of applications for VAT amounts 70, whereas the income amounts 99%”, reads the document.

Public Finance Management Reform Program states that the implementation of the capital budget, including the expenditure related to the highway construction, amounted €90,83 million, that is, 111% of the projected expenditure.

“The reason for such implementation is primarily the result of more intense activities for the execution of works on other important capital projects. At the same time, capital budget is by €12,8 million higher than in 2017”, reads the document.
