About €9m invested in the energy reconstruction of 13 facilities

Through the implementation of two energy efficiency programs in the past four years, carried out by the Ministry of Economy, a total of 13 educational and health institutions have been reconstructed. About €9m has been invested in total, said head of the Energy Efficiency Directorate Marko Radulovic.

At today’s cabinet meeting, the Government of Montenegro adopted the information on executing activities aimed at improving the energy characteristics of public facilities based on loans.

According to Radulovic, these are two projects in the field of energy efficiency financed by international loans – Energy Efficiency in Montenegro – additional financing (MEEP AF), which is focused on health facilities and Energy Efficiency Programme in Public Buildings – the second stage (EEPPB 2), which is focused on educational facilities and partly on administrative facilities.
