Eleven companies bought tender documents for Briska gora

Tender documentation for the lease of state-owned land in Briska gora, Ulcinj, intended for purposes of the construction of solar power plant has been bought by 11 companies so far.

“There’s a huge interest for the tender. Representatives of two Chinese companies  and one French company visited land in Briska gora. They are potential investors and they are very satisfied with the location of the future solar power plant as well as with the conditions of the tender”, said the source.

Representatives of the aforementioned companies met with the representatives of local administration in Ulcinj during their visit.

Representatives of the Ministry of Economy said that they couldn’t tell the names of the companies which bought the documents. The public call will be open by September, 3rd. The offer of the public call is the land, 6,62 million square meters, intended for the design, construction, use and maintenance of solar power plant, with the installed power greater than 20 megawatts (MW).

The construction of the solar power plant will be divided into phases. The land will be taken on lease for the period of 30 years, and the starting, minimum price of the annual lease is 5 cents per square meter.
