En+ Group withdrew lawsuit against KAP before Nicosia court

After the Nicosia District Court in mid-April overturned a temporary restrain on alienation of movable and immovable property of the bankrupt Podgorica Aluminium Plant (KAP), Russian company En+ Group Limited was forced to withdraw a lawsuit filed against bankrupt KAP on 16 June 2014, the bankruptcy trustee Veselin Perisic said.

The Nicosia Court was informed about the lawsuit withdrawal at the hearing held on 22 May 2017.

“At that hearing, the court ordered the Russian company En+ Group Limited to pay the costs of the court proceedings to KAP. After almost three years, the case No 3355/14 against bankrupt KAP before the court in Cyprus has been successfully completed. This new success of the bankrupt KLAP company is another international court’s confirmation that KAP bankruptcy proceeding has been conducted lawfully before the Commercial Court of Montenegro,” Perisic said.
