Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic has said after the meeting with the leaders of Montenegro’s power supplier, EPCG, and the Municipality of Niksic that the Government has given the green light to EPCG to start talks with the Turkish company about taking over Steelworks.
“A business plan was presented which, in my opinion, is realistic and something that could be implemented in the coming period. The state is most interested in protecting the workers of Steelworksꓼ it is the social component that we expressed in relation to the previous interested company. Our goal is to find a sustainable solution”, Abazovic has told journalists after the meeting with the President of the Board of Directors of EPCG Milutin Djukanovic and the mayor of Niksic, Marko Kovacevic.
