At the extraordinary meeting which is to take place in a month, the shareholders of the Electric Power Company of Montenegro (EPCG) will declare on the proposal of the company’s Board of Directors, ie initiating the procedure of voluntary public offer for the takeover of the Pljevlja Coal Mine.
The chairman of the EPCG Board of Directors, Djoko Krivokapic, said that after the expected decision of its shareholders, the power company would launch a voluntary public offering procedure for the takeover of all 5.06 million Coal Mine’s shares with the right to vote.
“So, EPCG will offer all shareholders the redemption of shares at a fairly well-defined value of €6.4 per share,” Krivokapic said in an interview with the Mina Business news agency after today’s meeting of the Board of Directors.
