At today’s press conference of the health authorities, it has been stated that the epidemiological situation caused by the coronavirus is favourable. Representatives of the Ministry of Health, the Public Health Institute and the Health Center Podgorica have called on citizens to get vaccinated. Due to the more favourable epidemiological situation, a certain number of vaccination points are to be shut down.
The current number of people infected with the coronavirus has been the lowest since July 2020, says the Institute director Igor Galic. There are currently 683 active cases, while 83 people have been hospitalized, he has added.
The vaccination coordinator in Podgorica Sladjana Racic from the Health Center Podgorica has announced that a certain number of vaccination points in all municipalities will be temporarily shut down.
