Speaking in a TV show ‘Dobro jutro Crna Goro’ (Eng. Good Morning Montenegro) aired on the public broadcaster TVCG, Health Minister, Jelena Borovinic Bojovic, said that face coverings wouldn’t be mandatory in schools, super markets, shopping malls and sports facilities. According to her, new Covid rules will be in place from Thursday, that is, mask-wearing will be encouraged but not mandatory.

The Minister also added that the epidemiological situation was much better.

“We still need to be careful. The coronavirus has unpleasantly surprised us several times. The situation is currently favorable and stable. We have a significant decrease in the number of patients on a daily basis, a decrease in the number of patients admitted to hospitals”, said Ms Borovinic Bojovic.
