Montenegrin national football team is ranked 52nd in FIFA world rankings published today. It has 560 points.
The “falcons” have advanced 10 positions compared to the May rankings, although they have played no games in the meantime.
Our national team will soon have the opportunity to improve its standing as it will play a friendly game against Iran on Sunday. On 10 June, Montenegro will play a qualification match for the World Cup against Armenia.
Our national team was best ranked in June 2011, when it stood at 16th position.
There have been no changes at the top of the list – Brazil is ranked number one, followed by Argentina, Germany, Chile and Colombia.
