Milos Barovic (30) from Podgorica, who is suspected of a serious offense against traffic safety, has been detained for up to 72 hours after he was questioned on Monday in the Municipal Prosecutor’s Office, Dnevne Novine newspaper writes.
He is charged with having participated in a car crash in which Branko Todorovic died.
Barovic was driving a range rover car along the Partizanski Put street from Mareza towards the city and Todorovic tried to enter the traffic from a minor road with his mercedes car when a severe crash happened.
Before the prosecutor Barovic said he repented and regretted everything that happened.
He said that immediately after the crash, he got out of his car and tried to help the driver of the mercedes, but that he could not open his door.
