Reis of the Islamic community in Montenegro, Mr Rifat Fejzić, said that Muslims in Pljevlja “can’t be subject of ethnic cleansing like the one from the beginning of 1990s and that Montenegro must protect them”.
Today Mr Fejzić visited Mejlis of the Islamic community in Pljevlja which was target of vandalism this morning.
Emir Pilav, who was victim of the physical attack in several occasions and is thinking about leaving Montenegro, acquainted Mr Fejzić with the situation. Mr Fejzić also had meeting with Asim Ajanović, whose had written on his front “Turks, move” with a cross and four letters S. His house was target of shots”, statement says.
Mr Fejzić urged all Muslims to overcome this difficult political and security situation in a civilized way.
