The final results of the elections in Podgorica were announced at today’s session of the Election Commission. It was stormy at today’s session. The president of the Election Commission of Podgorica, Veselin Vukcevic, has announced that the determination of the final results of the elections in Podgorica can’t be on today’s agenda, because, as he claims, this is not in accordance with the law. Commission members from the Europe Now movement, and the coalitions relating to DF and Democrats demanded that the declaration of the final elections be included in the agenda. Vukcevic said that he would vote for the final results of the elections in Podgorica only in accordance with the law. He invited the Commission members to express their objections, while on the other hand they demanded that the agenda be voted on and that the announcement of the final elections be included in it. As there was no agreement, Vukcevic said that he was closing the session and left the hall. The other members of the Commission said that there were conditions to continue the work, and the oldest member of the Commission, Radosav Jokic, took over the chairmanship. Shortly after that, seven members unanimously supported the announcement of the final election results today. Podgorica Election Commission rejected the objections.
Vladimir Vujovic, the Commission member from Democrats, has announced that now the professional service is obliged to ensure the certification of acts, so that they can be submitted to the Official Gazette.
