The fire that broke out today at the Ribljak site in the Prokletije national park has been extinguished, whereas the Hrid site is still burning, CdM learns.
The Civil Rescue and Protection Service teams and firefighters from Plav unit are on the ground. As the head of the Plav fire-fighting service Abidin Music told CdM, the fire at the Hrid lake site will likely be put out by this evening.
The National Parks of Montenegro (NPCG) stated it was not easy to extinguish the fires in this area due to a lot of inaccessible terrain.
