In Montenegro, there are currently several fires that are active – in Danilovgrad, Tivat, Herceg Novi and Cetinje, and all are under control, said Directorate for Emergency Situations.
There are no active fires in Podgorica, according to the report from 6 pm.
In Danilovgrad, fires are active in Donji and Gornji Zagarac towards Markovina.
In Cetinje, fires are active in Lastva Cevska, on Markovine and Cuce, Rvasi Carev Laz. All fires are under control.
“In Tivat and Herceg Novi, fires are active on Konjevici. Previous locations are still active, but the situations is a lot better and everything is under control”, the report reads.
In Kotor, a fire in Bigova is active, while in Niksic, Ulcinj, Bar and Budva there are no active fires at this time.
Directorate reminded of the help that came from Ukraine, Switzerland, Bulgaria and Croatia.
“In addition, yesterday around 4 pm, the help in form of two Israeli airplanes Air Tractor came. These planes have the capacity of 3,000 liters of water”, the Directorate stated.
