Flights between Luxembourg and Podgorica to start from 1 April

On 1 April, Luxembourg’s national airline will make the first flight between Luxembourg and Podgorica. Passengers will be flying with the 76-seat Dash 8 turboprop aircraft, whereas the price of a plane ticket will amount to €149, including all taxes, the President of the Cultural Informative Center of Montenegro to Luxembourg, Ms Fetija Kalač, noted following the meeting with the Luxair’s CEO, Mr Gilles Feith, and his associates.

The ticket price includes free plane meal and luggage (23kg checked luggage and 8kg cabin luggage).

“Travel will last around two and a half hours with two weekly flights, each Monday and Thursday,” Ms Kalač noted.

As of June 2021, i.e. over summer, travel prices will go up, amounting to €201.

“If passengers wish to select their seat in the aircraft, they will be able to book it online and pay a total of €12 for this service,” he explained.

Luxair will also inaugurate seasonal summer flights to Tivat, which will run once per week, each Saturday, in the period from 15 May to 2 October, with the 141-seat Boeing 737-700 jet.

All flight tickets can be booked online, free of charge, via www.luxair.lu or by calling +352 2456 1 (calls are charged €15 per person).
