If the 2021 agriculture budget fails to be adopted, consequences will be massive and a decrease in agricultural production will happen, a member of the SDP management and a livestock engineer, Budimir Mugoša, assessed.
Mr Mugoša is a farmer himself and used to be the minister of agriculture in the 2016 transitional government.
Agriculture needs security and the continuity in imposing measures.
“We had the worst agricultural policy in Europe, I don’t know what’s going to happen and I don’t want to worry about the Ministry’s actions so this year I haven’t cultivated a single hectare of land, while last year, I used to cultivate 70 hectares.”
According to him, this government, like the former one, is just throwing dust in our eyes.
