At the upcoming Prime Minister’s Question Time on 27 November, Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic will address inquiries from MPs on political, economic, infrastructural, and European topics.
DPS MP Ivan Vukovic will ask whether the government will proceed with the long-promised wastewater treatment plant in Podgorica, while DNP leader Milan Knezevic will press Spajic on meeting with residents of Botun who oppose the project.
SD MP Branislav Nenezic will seek clarification on whether the new legalisation law has effectively curbed illegal construction. In the economic sphere, URA’s Milos Konatar will question the government’s stance on compensating former employees of bankrupt state companies. Bosniak Party MP Amer Smailovic will focus on the 2026 capital budget, especially projects planned for Bijelo Polje.
Interstate cooperation will also surface as a topic. Ilir Capuni will raise concerns about delays in the Montenegro–Albania project to build a bridge over the Bojana River, noting Albania’s progress compared to Montenegro’s minimal budget allocation for 2026.
Political issues will come to the forefront when Democrat Boris Bogdanovic challenges Spajic to define how the current government differs from previous ones and to address claims about potential misuse of security services.
Looking toward the European agenda, SNP MP Bogdan Bozovic will ask Spajic to explain how the government plans to capitalise on Montenegro’s fulfilment of all 15 closing benchmarks in five negotiating chapters ahead of the December Intergovernmental Conference.
