Prices of all types of fuel are rising yet again. From today, a liter of diesel costs €1.65, which is by 7 cent higher, while a liter of BMB 98 costs €1.73 and BMB 95 €1.69.
The price of fuel oil has gone up as well, standing at €1.61.
“According to the provisions of the Regulation on the manner and amount of elements on the basis of which the maximum prices of oil derivatives are formed (“Official Gazette of Montenegro”, number 23/2021), the next calculation will be carried out on October 9, and any changed prices of oil derivatives will be valid from October 10″, it was announced from the Ministry of Capital Investments, MKI.
If fuel prices continue to surge, the government might react by decreasing excise taxes, the Finance Minister, Aleksandar Damjanovic, said last week.
For now, no concrete measures have been taken.
