According to current estimates of the Ministry of Economy, there are no conditions for correction of prices of petroleum products in Montenegro, so there will be no new increases, according to information presented to the members of the Government at today’s session.
After a sharp jump, the Ministry explained, prices normalized and the DOLAR / EURO exchange became stable once again.
“The current situation on the world market confirmed the previous Government’s assessment that no further increase in prices of petroleum products in Montenegro is expected, and we are now entering the period of stability. The last two days of the accounting period, that is June 7 and 8, will give precise information on whether some prices will be lowered”, the Ministry of Economy said.
They added the Government of Montenegro will continue to monitor the movements in prices of oil derivatives on the world market, and that the Ministry of Economy will be in constant communication with Montenegrin businessmen, whose decision not to increase the prices of oil products and services is welcomed.
