The director of the Public Health Institute Igor Galić says that the non-introduction of lockdown is not conditioned by the local elections in Nikšić. He believes that the elections in that city, like all previously held ones, are a great epidemiological risk.
He explains that the anti-epidemic measures announced yesterday are a continuation of the previously adopted ones, and that they will eventually be mitigated or tightened depending on the level at which they are respected.
Asked whether a total lockdown can be expected after the Nikšić elections, Mr Galić has said that we have long been ready for a complete lockdown. He warns that all measures will be more rigorous if we don’t adhere to the basic ones.
