Germans require over €100m from Budva through arbitration procedure

Yesterday, at the urgently scheduled session, the Municipal Assembly of Budva passed a decision on hiring legal representatives for the international arbitration procedure in the dispute that the German-Austrian consortium WTE/EBH is leading against the local government, by a majority of votes and on the proposal of Mayor Marko Bato Carevic.

“We want to be winners in this dispute. What worries me is that we didn’t have a third of contact with our government for which we were fighting so strong as we had with the former one. Prime Minister, Mr Zdravko Krivokapic, and the Minister of Finance should involve in the dispute. Why didn’t the PM have time to visit Budva, which is burning in hell of problems, and he was coming to neighboring municipalities,” noted Mr Carevic, stressing that it’s a political story, as the PM avoids to meet with him.

He also points out that such problems are given to the Democratic Front, DF, to deal with them.
