The ‘Limited Prices’ campaign will most likely continue after January 2025 and will last as much as needed in order to preserve the standard of living of citizens. We have carried out public opinion research and trade analyses, and must meet with representatives of the industry to create favourable environment for both them and citizens, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Economic Development Minister, Nik Gjeloshaj, states.
With the mentioned campaign, he claims, they’ve managed to stop the increase in prices, adding that it started on time, that is, before the start of the Europe Now 2 program, having in mind the risk of higher grocery prices after pay rises.
Mr Gjeloshaj says that they’ve backed the industry with around €3 million aiming to increase the competitiveness, particularly focusing on the production. He expects the results of that support to be visible soon.
On Sveti Stefan Hotel, Mr Gjeloshaj says they’ve been working on the protection of state interests, hoping that it would open next year.
