The rector of the Cetinje school of theology, Mr Gojko Perović, didn’t hide his dissatisfaction when he noticed yesterday that the cameraman of the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral, during the liturgy held on the occasion of St. Luka Day, was filming believers receiving Communion with the same spoon.
Mr Perović ordered the cameraman to cut that scene from the footage.
“I hope that Communion service didn’t go live?” Mr Perović asked the cameraman.
“It’s going live now, but I can cut it,” the cameraman answered.
“Well, cut it. We don’t need it, believers don’t need it and the priest either,” Mr Perović said.
From everything we could read, it seems that Mr Perović tried to hide that the clergy and believers didn’t mind for measures of the National Coordination Body amid the coronavirus chaos from the public.
Prime Minister-designate, Mr Zdravko Krivokapić, received Communion during that same liturgy.
