The government will probably extend the validity of the decision to reduce the amount of excise duties on fuel or take other measures, if new jumps in the price of oil and oil derivatives on the global market are announced, says the Minister of Finance Aleksandar Damjanovic.
Speaking about the concrete measures that are being taken in order to reduce fuel prices, he says that the Ministry will probably consider extending the validity of the decision, as well as that it will consider whether there is room to further reduce the excise duties.
He has stated that radical measures would be to limit prices, having in mind the tourist season and the regional aspect.
