According to the vineyard and fruit production manager, Dušan Kankaraš, Plantaže company will be needing 800-900 seasonal workers for harvesting wine grapes during the period August 2018 to the end of Sept. 2018.

Wine harvest season will start somewhat earlier this year due to favorable weather conditions, said Kankaraš in an interview for Pobjeda daily.

“Harvesting is becoming increasingly mechanized, but we still need 900 workers more and I’m afraid we won’t find them in Montenegro. This is why we have already called people from Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo,” stressed Kankaraš, adding that conditions for these temporary workers are quite favorable.

People who want to do this job do not have to possess experience in this area, as they will be provided a three-day training.

For those who intend to apply, it’d be useful to know that the average salary will range from 15 euro to 20 euro per day, they will have two paid meals and people who come from countries other than MNE will have their bus ticket paid.

There is no need to be afraid of illness/infections and pests as the vineyard is in good condition, noted Kankaraš.
