URA civic movement urged citizens to think critically about the statements and posts in the media and social networks, claiming that these are considerably spreading false news. Even though they were not precise, one cannot help thinking that they had in mind, or at least should have had in mind, their president Mr Dritan Abazović, who tweeted false news that Montenegro’s President, Mr Milo Đukanović, owes €2.4 million in tax, and this is still visible on Tweeter.
Mr Abazović confused the tax debt with a debt of a company where Mr Đukanović is a co-owner with a debt they owe to another legal entity, thus deluding the public.

On the other hand, URA has reacted to the information published by the media and taken from a Facebook account posting a status and photographs of a person who was seemingly burning the Montenegro’s flag, and which these people have denied to the police, which was also published.
The media, or at least the majority the announcements of which we have looked at, also published Facebook status and photos along with the police statement, as well as that the case was handed over to the competent prosecutor’s office.
Mr Dritan Abazović has not yet answered the public who offered him €21 million in corruption.
