Currently, there are more than 70 open construction sites across Montenegro and some of the biggest projects that are in line with the development concept of the govt and the strategy of even regional development are valorization of the Đalovića Cave and construction of the new ski resorts in Bjelasica and Hajla, the Public Works Administration, UJR, told CdM.
They also say a major step forward was made in 2019 towards the implementation of some very important investments across Montenegro.
“The successful year behind us is also evidenced by the fact that we will have about 33 per cent more realization of funds from the capital budget compared to last year, which is another indicator of the scope of our activities. Construction works in the Đalovića Cave near Bijelo Polje are of the topmost priority of the Government of Montenegro and the Public Works Administration. It is a remarkable natural resource, recognized as a new opportunity for the development of Montenegrin tourism, the economic environment of northern municipalities and the creation of new jobs.The project itself is very complex in terms of construction and consists of several technical segments, which are currently in different stages,” representatives of UJR said.
They continued: “When it comes to the Đalovića Cave itself, a public procurement procedure has recently been announced for the interior design and the construction of ancillary facilities in front of the entrance, which actually represent the exit for the cable car. The estimated value of this work is two million euros, while the deadline for submission of bids is 20 January 2020.”
Along with the works in the Đalovića Cave, the Public Works Administration is intensively engaged in the construction of new ski resorts, and we expect most of the construction works to be completed by the end of 2021.
