The head of the High State Prosecutor’s Office (VDT) in Podgorica gave a binding instruction for the proceedings in the case formed based on the request to initiate misdemeanor proceedings against the historian and columnist Boban Batricevic, VDT has announced.
“After inspecting the case files, the head of the High State Prosecutor’s Office assessed that there were no elements of a misdemeanor in the request for initiation of misdemeanor proceedings, which is why it instructed the acting state prosecutor to abandon further prosecution of the defendant B.B.”, VDT stated.
Senior state prosecutor Snezana Sisevic had earlier brought a case against historian Boban Batricevic, PhD (Faculty of Montenegrin Language and Literature) because of his column published on the Antena M portal.
