The coronavirus epidemic in Montenegro is unlikely to end soon, as the Public Health Institute records new cases every single day. Good news is that the number of recovered people is increasing. According to available data, the total number of active cases in MNE is 2.039, i.e. 324 Covid-19 cases per 100.000 people. Podgorica accounts for 902 of those, while the highest number of confirmed cases per 100.000 people is in the town of Rožaje (523), Budva (505) and the capital (485). The website coronainfocg.me says that coronavirus poses a greater risk to men (1.558 of them got infection) over women (1.335 affected by Covid-19). As for the age groups, people between the ages of 30 and 39 were mostly affected by the virus.

Ever since the first Covid-19 case was recorded in MNE (17 March), 2.893 people got infection, while there are currently 2.039 active cases. A total of 188 Covid-19 patients have been admitted to Montenegro hospitals, 809 people beat the virus, while 3.846 people have been under medical surveillance. Unfortunately, 45 people died of Covid-19 in Montenegro.
