Highway officially opened

On Statehood Day – 13 July, the first, 41-kilometer-long section of the highway in Montenegro, connecting Smokovac and Matesevo, was ceremonially put into traffic. President of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic, Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Capital Investments Ervin Ibrahimovic, Chargé d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy Hua Yafang and Executive Director of Monteput Milan Ljiljanic opened the Bar-Boljare highway. Abazovic suggested that the highway be named after the first female driver in the Balkans – Princess Ksenia. Tolls for the highway will not be charged for the next seven days, until 21 July, to be exact.
