Ministry of Interior Affairs removed two individuals from voters list for Municipality of Herceg Novi after it was confirmed they were deceased. The Ministry said to Dan daily that they regularly check data in voters lists, in accordance with the Law on Voters List and Law on Selection of Councilors and Representatives.
„Administrative control over regional unit in Herceg Novi has been increased since the elections were announced“, they said in the Ministry.
They invited the citizens to report their deceased ones.
According to the most recent information, voters list of Herceg Novi had 24.950 citizens listed on April 6th.
The Ministry invited citizens to get passports and personal IDs if they have none, so they can vote in the upcoming elections.
The elections will be held on May 7th.
