PPF Telecom Group has announced today the sale of a 100% stake in Telenor Crna Gora to the Hungarian company 4iG Nirt. The parties have agreed not to disclose the transaction price, which is subject to the usual approval of the competent regulatory authority in Montenegro. The process is expected to be completed by the end of 2021.
“Our business strategy focuses on markets that offer significant growth potential and carry weight in our portfolio. Therefore, we have decided to sell Telenor Crna Gora to a company that has a long-term interest in further developing this mobile operator”, says Marek Slacik, CEO of TMT CEE (Technology, Media, Telecommunications for CEE region), PPF Telecom Group.
