In addition to excellent economic growth, Montenegro achieved excellent results in the consolidation of public finances and improvement of financial stability in 2017, said the head of the International Monetary Fund Mission for Montenegro, Martin Petri, during a meeting with the governor of the Central Bank of Montenegro Radoje Zugic and finance minister Darko Radunovic.
The Central Bank stated that the IMF delegation was staying in Montenegro for the purpose of holding regular annual consultations in accordance with Article IV of the Fund. At the meeting, the officials discussed the state of the Montenegrin economy, the results achieved in the previous year and plans and projections for the current year.
