Total foreign trade exchange in Montenegro for the period from January to June 2020 amounted to €1,206 billion, which is a 15,8% decline compared with the same period last year.
Export was worth €167,9 million, while import amounted to €1,038 billion.
“Import coverage amounted to 16,2%”, MONSTAT data shows.
In the structure of export products categorized by material are dominant and amount to €41,9 million: non-ferrous metals (€30,6 million), Iron and steel (€7,6 million).
In the structure of import machines and transport means in the amount of €232,1 million are dominant: Road vehicles(€62,4 million), electric machines and devices (€46,9 million).
The biggest foreign trade partners in export were: Serbia (€39,7 million ), Slovenia (€19,2 million) and Hungary (€14,3 million). The biggest partners in import were: Serbia (€199,5 million),China (€103 million) and Germany (€93,5 million).
