The Basic State Prosecutor’s Office completed the investigation and filed a complaint against lieutenant colonel Emin Husović, 45, on suspicion of threatening Alma Ljuljanaj, general director of the Directorate for Material Resources in the Ministry of Defense, with a gun.
Husović was initially accused of attempted murder, but this has been reclassified and now he’s accused of unauthorized possession of firearm and attempted attack on an official. Husović’s lawyer, Dalibor Tomović, confirmed this information to Pobjeda daily and lodged an appeal against the decision.
The complaint states that on 25 June Husović went into the office of Ljuljanaj and tried to attack her, as he had heard about her intentions to reassign him to another job position within the same state body.
Husović has been under detention for 3 months in fear of escaping.
