Institute fir Public Health reported today that samples sent to Germany earlier this week arrived and showed 573 positive samples. Laboratories of the Institute for Public Health analyzed 462 samples, 130 of which were positive for coronavirus. Another 221 patients recovered in the last 24 hours. There are currently 3900 active COVID-19 cases.
New infections were registered in Podgorica-51, Nikšić-32, Berane-19, Pljevlja-9, Cetinje-8, Plav-3, Bijelo Polje . 2, Budva-2, Herceg Novi-2, Kolašin-1 and Plužine-1.
“Two patients passed away due to COVID-19 complications. They were born in 1939 and 1941 and were from Podgorica and Plav. Total COVID-19 death toll in MNE is 172, since the outbreak”, Institute said.
Analyses of samples sent to Germany showed 573 new cases. They were sampled between 26 and 29 September and will be registered as new cases in days to come:
