On the request of the National Police, the General Secretariat of INTERPOL in Lyon has issued an international arrest warrant for Aleksandar Mrkic, 60, a Montenegro national, police have stated.
Mrkic is wanted on the order of the Podgorica High Court and is suspected of committing a criminal offence – the formation of a criminal organization, money laundering and smuggling.
He is suspected of organising a crime gang that actively smuggled cigarettes from the free trade zone in the Port of Bar and money laundering.
