The works on the reconstruction of the Clock Tower and the Becir Beg Osmanagic square have been brought to an end, but they are not fully completed yet, which is the obligation of the contractor, and not the municipal services, the City of Podgorica Bureau stated.

“After the works are completed, which relates, among other things, to lighting and the public fountain, the contractor hands it over to the City of Podgorica. When the works are fully completed and approved by municipal authorities, the public will be notified in good time,” the statement says.
When it comes to the opening of the Tower for visitors, the intention of the City of Podgorica is to make it accessible to both citizens and tourists. However, relevant experts will have the last word on this matter, especially on the safety of the facility itself for this kind of valorisation.
