Irregularities in every one in two kindergartens

During this year, educational inspectors supervised the work of 39 state and private-owned kindergartens, out of which irregularities were found in as many as half of them. The inspectors “had objections” mainly to the lack of licenses for the educational programme implementation, for the professional staff, keeping pedagogical records, the work of expert and management bodies, as well as the institution management.

The irregularities were recorded in 21 public and 18 private-owned pre-school facilities.

As the Inspectorate told Dnevne Novine, all the kindergartens acted according to its recommendations within the given deadline. Therefore no administrative proceedings were initiated against them.
