When will the new Government be presented? This is something the public keeps asking, and the answers it gets are: on 8 November? NO. On 10 or 11 November? NO! In the middle of November? Maybe!
Statement made yesterday by Mr Dritan Abazović confirmed that things are not going smoothly for the new governing majority. He said in the Public service that the new Government “will probably be formed within a month”. On 9 September he said that the new government would be formed by the end of October.
As the days pass by, the deadline extends. Last week Mr Zdravko Kriokapić announced that the government would be formed on 8 November. Two days later, he said it would happen on 10 or 11 November, and now Mr Abazović extends the deadline for a few more days.
The reason for that is the fact that some staff members have refused to cover specific departments in the government. One of them is Mr Ivan Radenović, candidate for Minister of Finance.
After Mr Krivokapić asked parties to send him the names of three candidates and departments they want to cover, the atmosphere warmed up even more.
Numerous functionaries protested and asked: “Does Zdravko think we are at school? Why does he want us to send our CVs? And why do we have to send a list of three candidates, we all have different number of seats? The strongest ones should have most proposals…” – these are just some of the remarks and messages of the new governing majority, CdM finds out.
Anyway, the government hasn’t been formed yet and nobody knows when it will be formed.
New day, new luck, and a new date for the formation of the government.
