Having in mind the extraordinary political relations between Montenegro and Israel, we have an obligation to improve our economic cooperation. Podgorica has been ready to provide concrete contribution even through formalization of relations with Israel cities, said deputy mayor of Podgorica, Časlav Vešović, at the meeting with deputy chief of the mission at the Embassy of Israel, Jenny Sedov.
During the meeting, the capital’s authorities were offered support in the process of continuous spatial planning and spatial management, as well as sharing experience in the development of safe and smart city. Ms Sedov expressed interest in investments, especially referring to the wastewater treatment.
Deputy mayor of the capital presented the development potentials and plans for Podgorica, especially touching on the construction of the wastewater treatment facility, and expressed readiness for collaboration on the development projects in Podgorica. He also added Israeli companies are going to take part in them.
